Once you start an online business the benefits are multiple. Imagine being able to work whenever you want; however you want, and with whomever you please. What if I tell you that you can be your own boss, you choose your own schedule and still make a lot of money?

For most people this is just a dream, but the truth is that it may be easier than you can imagine. Bellow I have enumerated and briefly explained the many benefits of starting your own online business. Also you will learn how to easily do this and start earning money from home.

1. You are your own boss.

One of the biggest benefits of starting your online business is that you are your own boss. No one tells you what to do or how to do it. No one asks you questions, complain about your work, questions you about why you are late, why didn’t you do this, why didn’t you do that, etc. This increases your self esteem a lot. You are not a slave of someone else anymore. In fact if your business grows, you will have people working for you and not the other way around.

2. You choose your own schedule.

One of the most liberating things ever is to work whenever you want, not when someone else wants you to work. Imagine being able to work when you feel on the mood and not because you have to. This will reduce your stress level to at least 50%.

3. You choose your own environment.

How many individuals complain that they hate their job environment? Are you tired and frustrated of that hostile environment that surrounds you at work? You are not alone. Most people complain about other people. Sometimes it is just not possible to make everyone happy, specially if you work on customer service. Sometimes other employees don’t want to cooperate.

Most people want to be rich so they can be free. Most people want to have money, so they can buy all they want without guilt feelings and without limitations. This is called financial freedom. One-way links, reciprocal links, three-way links: what works best?

There are a lot of rumors about one-way links, reciprocal links and three-way links on the Internet. Which of these links work best for your business and which links do you need to get higher search engine rankings?

What are one-way links?

A one way link is a simple link from one website to the other. For example, if you link to http://finance.yahoo.com/ and that page doesn’t link back to your website then it’s a one-way link from your site to their site.

What are reciprocal links?

A link is a reciprocal link if you link to a website and that website links back to your website. You send visitors to the other site and the other website sends visitors back to you.

That makes sense because all visitors leave a website sooner or later. You can send your visitors back to search engines or you can send them to affiliates websites that send you traffic in return.

What are three-way links?

Some webmasters believe that reciprocal links don’t help web pages to get higher search engine rankings. That’s why they invented three way links: Website A links to website B, website B links to website C, website C links to website A.

One-Up Compensation: An Alternative to Traditional Multi-Level Marketing

The multi-level marketing (MLM) business has a somewhat tarnished image.  Part of the problem has stemmed from unscrupulous parties adopting the payout structure in support of scams and frauds.  Another reason for discontent is dissatisfaction many business operators have had with various variations on the payment plan.

At its core, MLM is attractive.  Adam sells to Bob.  Adam gets a commission.  Bob sells to Charlie, Bob and Adam get a commission.  The process can go deeper, but the idea is that one gets payment not only for the direct sales they make but also for the direct sales made by others one has recruited.  Of course, that also means that a percentage of one’s own sales and commissions are also getting “kicked up” to someone else.

The possibilities this system creates are attractive, but there is also a downside.  Part of one’s earnings will always be destined to disappear in the form of a payment to the recruiter.  It can also be a difficult system to track and can require one to spend a great deal of time dealing with his or her downline to make the process a success.

These weaknesses, combined with some of the controversy surrounding MLM has led to the creation of some alternative payment structures that are gaining popularity in the online marketing world.  One of the most attractive alternatives to MLM is the one-Up compensation plan.  This system has been embraced by some online business industry leaders and is gaining steam as a powerful alternative to other MLM plans.

One Powerful Reason Why You Need A List

You really need to begin building a list. Not tomorrow or next year, but now. It is the single most important action you can take for yourself and your internet income.

Without a list of responsive, interested people, you will always be scrambling for traffic for your online business.

Whether it is pay per click, which you must pay for, or viral marketing that you must develop products for, or articles you must write, there is always something you need to do in order to attain traffic. You are, in a sense, not in control.

Let me give you an illustration. You construct a new website, with a theme which you are knowledgeable about. So, now you have your website up. But where is the traffic?

Either from a pay per click campaign, or buying advertising from newsletters could be used. And which are certainly effective. However, this will obviously cost you money.

Now, let us imagine you have a fairly large list of ten thousand subscribers, with an interest in a similar area as the brand new website.

All you now need to do is send this list an email informing them of this new website, and instant free traffic for you! Once you have the list, it is really this easy.

Even if only five percent from this list opened their email and clicked the link you supplied within it, this is five hundred free, immediate visitors to your website.

This is what I personally call Directional Email Traffic. And this works for a new website or for any website you want to get traffic. It is the most valuable that exists.

Obviously, the closer to the specific zone of interest your list has with website in question, the more likely they are to not only visit, but click links on the website pages and buy whatever products are being sold, whether your own or as an affiliate. And also because these people know you and trust you. So if you ask them to do something, chances are many of them will.

Can you see how powerful this is? Instead of having to buy the traffic, it is free. This is what makes a targeted, responsive list so powerful.

Remember, you need to start building this list immediately. Otherwise you will have to pay for more traffic, both with money and your time, than you really should.

One Powerful Marketing Strategy

I want to share with you a very valuable marketing lesson today — The “Reason Why” strategy.

This is part of the reason why 100 packages of my newly released product, “Publishing Business Secrets” DVD Course was sold out 2 months ago.

Actually, we sold 73 copies in less than 18 hours from 722 visitors visiting the webpage.

The product was sold at $397 per package at the pre-launch price. So, that’s an average of US $40.14 per website visitor.

Do you want to know why it converts so well?

The “Reason Why” strategy was one of the main reasons.

A “Reason Why” strategy basically communicates with your prospects the “reason” why they need to order it today without any delay.

In a nutshell, you need to give a ‘reason’ why your prospect should buy from you today.

It sounds very simple but the strategy is waaaaay more powerful than the simplicity of it.

Why?

Because the strategy taps into one of human’s most powerful decision makers — the emotion.

Create urgency in your offer.

The best ‘reason’ to use in this strategy is to create a limited offer. Limited offers can be:

* Price will increase
* Get extra bonus products
* limited stock
* special payment plan
* etc

But please don’t use poor ‘reasons’ for this strategy. I’ve seen some marketers using the reason of running out of ’seats’ when they’re selling tele-seminars. This strategy is fine if you’re sincerely wanting 50 people to attend your call only. But if you’re trying to pack it with as many participants as possible, don’t use this ‘reason’.

In my personal opinion, that’s not a good “reason why” strategy. Would you believe that it’s not possible to increase the lines for more participants if you have a lot prospects who want to get on your call?

Maybe that’s true. Who knows, maybe they really cannot extend more lines.

If the tele-conference call company can’t do that, you might consider using one that can because it’s just pure, bad business sense to reject participants that wants to attend your tele-seminars!

But if you’re selling a real live seminar, it’s ok to use the ‘reason’ of limited seats because your venue might be able to allocate a certain number of people only. And also, you want to make sure that the crowd’s not too big so that you have it in control.

Or the ‘reason’ that the product will be sold out when you’re selling an ebook. Now, that’s another weird ‘reason’. An ebook is an ebook. You cannot ’sold out’ because it’s unlimited. It’s electron.

It can be ’sold out’ if you said that you want to sell 100 copies only because you do not want to share the content with the world. That ‘reason’ is fine but MAKE SURE you keep your words or it’ll backfire.

I’ve seen marketers who sold limited copies of ebooks with great success. The ‘Reason Why”?

Never to sell it to the public again.

When you’re using the “reason why” strategy, it has to be valid. Logical. Make sense.

In my recent promotion by using the “reason why” strategy, I’ve stressed that we have limited quantities.

Obviously the ‘reason’ is valid because we have only produced 100 copies to ‘test’ the market and also, to get feedbacks. And it’s the truth that after the 100 copies are sold, I’ve stop selling it because I don’t have any more copies to sell.

Remember, a customer’s decision to buy is influenced by the emotion and justified by the logic mind.

Have a good ‘reason’ why your prospect should buy from YOU — And buy from you TODAY.

Whether you are new to Internet marketing or frustrated by the experience, the concept is undisputedly a challenge. As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat.

One Internet Marketing Approach

Before we get into a one particular internet marketing approach, we need to define what we mean by approach. Internet marketing is entirely different than brick and mortar marketing. The structure is composed of a number of factors including long and short term strategies, indirect branding marketization and traffic analysis. If you can master these subjects, you will have the right approach and be successful.

To achieve a better marketing approach, you must conform to the basic outline of every successful site. You need to realize there are distinct short and long term strategies, and that they mesh. Short term strategies are all about pay-per-click search engines while long term strategies are all about search engine optimization.

Pay-per-click search engines [ppc] have serious benefits and limitations. The primary benefit is they create immediate traffic to your site. They allow you to get prospects on to the site and determine how they convert. The downside of going ppc is they add significantly to your overhead and the traffic may be of middling to poor quality.

To properly pursue PPC advertising, you should stick to Google Adwords and Overture. They have the highest quality of traffic. When using these platforms, you should start with as wide a scope of keywords as possible. Track the results through your server stats to determine the specific phrases that produce paying customers. Turn off the ads for keywords phrases that don’t produce revenues. This will improve your return on investment.

Long term Internet marketing is all about search engine optimization, a misunderstood subject if ever there was one. The advantage of seo is you generate free traffic. This is accomplished by moving your site into top ranking positions on MSN, Yahoo and Google. No other search engines matter. As your rankings improve, you can begin turning off corresponding ppc advertisements. Eventually you will able to entirely eliminate your ppc cost, effectively converting the site to a free marketing position.

To nail search engine optimization, you must focus on the needs of your prospects. Your view or opinion on your product or service is irrelevant. You must identify the exact things your prospects are searching for and create or modify pages on your site to provide a solution to that need. To conduct this research, you need to do keyword research.

Wordtracker is the secret weapon of profitable sites. The site provides a list of the exact keyword phrases being used by your prospects, the number of searches a day and the number of sites competing for top rankings on the keyword. You can enter your primary keyword phrases and quickly see which phrases you should use to produce the most traffic as quickly as possible. You might be thinking you can use Overture for this as well, but Overture should only be used to determine if there is general traffic for a subject. It

Branding is a phrase used for Internet marketing by those who do not really understand the Internet. The Internet is huge, making your branding efforts a waste of time if it is your primary goal. The only time branding should be used, in my humble opinion, is in the form of indirect branding. This occurs when you dominate every keyword phrase for your particular area of interest. To do this, you should create pages for every need identified for your prospects. When they see your listings over and over, your brand is established. Put another way, branding is a secondary benefit of your marketing, not the primary goal.

If you pursue this internet marketing approach, you should reach a point where you are earning significant revenues and little for marketing. Put another way, you are maximizing your profit margin, which should be the goal of every site owner.
