Keyword Research For High Internet Traffic: What You Should Know

Keyword research is the most crucial and important part of producing a money generating blog. A keyword research blog is what search engines use as the basis of their rankings. Keywords however are what people use to find websites via search engines. Efficient keyword research increases the probability that you will get a high ranking on search engine pages to reach your target audience or target market. Your websites will not get traffic from search engine, if keyword research is not done properly.

By using keyword research in your blog or website, you will get more search referral traffic because of increased visibility.Your blog’s earnings potential is reliant on the amount of time you choose to invest in your research. To get the desired amount of search traffic to your website one must do the essential keyword research.

Look for a Niche

One of the easiest and simplest ways to make money online is to do product reviews or recommendations. As soon as people starts to trust your recommendations you will start to get high rankings and become an authority blog. This is where money comes in, from the constant stream of affiliate commissions of the products you have reviewed. In time, product promotion and services referral is probably the best way to earn sufficient income from blogging.

Keyword Research Blog Essentials

When searching for effective keywords there are three main ideas you have to look at for an effective blog.

First, find out the CPC (Cost-Per-Click) of your keyword. It’s a great idea if you find one that will give you a minimum of $1.00 per click. This will give you a hint on how much money you can possibly make from your keyword.

Secondly, know the number of searches because it will determine how many people will be searching for your term or keyword. There is a greater potential to make more money with high search volume.  Target a term that gets at least 3000 searches per month to get an accepted amount of search volume.

Having a closer at the top competing websites is the final step so that you know what you are up against. Do not choose a keyword research blog that has over a Page Rank of 4, unless you plan to put too much effort on your site. Doing very simple searches at Google search engine will help.

I can’t stress enough the importance to follow this guideline to successfully be able to make money with your keyword research blog.

Valuable Tips for Increasing Your Website Traffic and Search Engine Ranking

It is a known fact that increasing your search engine ranking has a direct effect on the amount of traffic to your website.

•    Your site should provide content, products, services and/or information that provides substance.
•    Your page content should include your primary and secondary targeted keywords within the first 50 words of your page and also distribute them throughout the rest of the document
•    Research and use the right keywords/phrases to attract your target customers.
•    Make sure the keyword phrases you select are properly applied to your site, not only as links in the content, but also in the tags (i.e. Title, META Tags, Headers, etc.)
•    Keep your site design simple so that your customers can navigate easily between web pages, find what they want and buy your products and services.
•    Make sure all of your pages (not just your main home page) are submitted to the most popular search engines (i.e. Google, Yahoo! and MSN). There are services or consultants that you can hire online to do this for you at a very minimal cost. Be sure this is a manual submission. Do not engage an automated submission service.
•    Continually monitor any changes in the procedures and algorithms of the major search engines and so that you can fine tune your website to adjust for these changes and make sure your rankings stay high.  Use online tools and utilities to keep track of how your website is doing.
•    Determine your strongest competition sites and see what they are doing to achieve the top rankings.  Pay especially close attention to their keywords, content, design, etc.
•    Use reports and logs from your web hosting company to see where your traffic is coming from. Evaluate where your visitors are located and how they arrive at your site, whether directly from search engines of from various links from other sites.
•    Make your customer visit easy and give them plenty of ways to remember you in the form of newsletters, free reports, reduction coupons etc.

•    When not sure, hire professionals. Though it may seem costly, but it is a lot less expensive than spending your money on a website which no one visits.
•    Don’t look at your website as a static brochure. Treat it as a dynamic, ever-changing sales tool and location, just like your real store to which your customers with the same seriousness.
