Before I share with you my arsenal of the top net tools that I promise will assist you to operate remotely, I need to discuss one more issue aboutself management and especially to do with maintaining your focus and powers of concentration
I’ve identified and established a common behavior in individuals who work on the Internet and I’ve known for some time and I call this habit the 50 minute rule. I identified these acquaintances who apply themselves and work for fifty mins. and then take a whole ten minute break and are considerably more effective and generate a substantially greater quality of work than members of both sexes who don’t have structured working methods.
OK as promised I present you with my list of preferred remote working online services:
Google Mail won’t cost you a penny. For my money the search and label (a bit like folders) mechanisms are superior to anything I have previously seen. The only disadvantage so far is that I have seen it run quite slowly on lower spec.computers
Phone calls
Skype occasionally drove me to despair as the call quality and reliability was appalling, but a big pat on the back for the coders at Skype now as they have substantially changed the quality of the service. For just a few bucks a month Skype lets me call and conference in any telephone and Skype subscriber on Earth. The current version of Skype has a collection of really good features and there is an ever growing list of practical add on applications.

Before I share with you my arsenal of really good Internet tools that almost certainly assist you to work remotely, I want to make you aware of one more issue about self discipline and especially to do with maintaining your focus and levels of concentration
I’ve spotted and confirmed a consistent habit in friends who work on the Internet and I’ve known for quite a long time and I call this habit the 50 min effect. I observed these friends who apply themselves and work for fifty mins. and then make themselves take a complete 10 minute break and are much more effective and generate a much higher quality of work than acquaintances who don’t have well organised working methods.
